Valley of flowers
Valley of Flowers is a vibrant and splendid national park reposing in West Himalayas. Nestled in Uttarakhand, this alluring place is famous for its charming meadows of alpine flowers. Endowed with a diverse range of endemic flora, it is picturesque in its beauty. This lush region is also home to some rare and endangered animal species. Legends believe it to be the place from where Hanuman had collected the Sanjeevani buti for curing Lakshmana. This place has floral pastures, running streams and beautiful backdrop of the mountains.
Day 01:- Rishikesh –Joshi math (250 kms/7-8 hrs)

Reliaouges and Historical Places to see on the way to Destination.
First-Devpryag- known for Raghunath Temple built in13- 14 century and (Confluence of Bhagirathi & Alaknanda) both river become Ganga from Devpryag till the bay of Bengal.
Secend-Shri Nagar:- situated.105 km north from Rishikesh. Shri Nagar original name was (Shripur) it was the oldest state of Maharaja Garhwal. It was stabiles by Panwar ‘
Septal King Ajaypal in 1358 century. People believed that there was a great Architecture here which washed in 1894 in destructive floods. It has some old temples, and Garhwal university which established in 1973, National Institute of Technology opened in 2010.

Thrid Rudrpryag:- Situated 135km north from Rishikesh the administrative headquarters of the district. (Confluence of Alakanda and Mandakini river), from here both river become Alakanda till Devpryag. it is also A junction of road connecting Kedarnath temple and Chopta Chander shilla trek.
Forth- Karnaprayag:- A small town situated at A junction of road connecting Badrinath and Nanital. One of the Panch Prayag of Alaknanda River, situated at the confluence of the Alaknanda, and Pindar River. From here both river known as Alakanda river.
Fifth-Joshimath The religious centre, established by Adi Shankaracharya, which he called Jyotirmath, later, came to be known as Joshimath. Among the sites of interest are the temples of Nav Durga and Narsingh. Apart from its obvious religious importance, Joshimath is known for its scenic beauty.

Day 02:- Joshimath- Govind Ghat – Ghangria. Drive 20 kms trek 13 kms approx 5-6 hrs)
After breakfast depart for Govind ghat, 22 kms drive takes 45 kms. After reaching Govind ghat, ascending trek begins to Ghangria the base camp for Hemkund Sahib and the Valley of Flowers. It is a well maintained pilgrim trail to Ghangaria. This is the stopover for those going to Hemkund Sahib and has several lodges and small shops selling day to day consumables! . Upon arrival at Ghangria check into hotel. Explore the surroundings. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel..

Day 03 : Ghangaria – Valley Of Flowers – Ghangria (10 both side 5-6 hrs approx)

Depart After breakfast trek Begins to Valley Of Flowers. The valley is 2 kms wide and 10 kms long at the hight 3900 amsl. It is a wonderland for nature lovers, adventure lovers and avid photographers.
It is UNESCO heritage site that is best-known for its lush velvet meadows, flower strewn beds and endangered species of flora and fauna. Legends say that it was this place from where Lord Hanuman collected ‘Sanjevani’ herbs for Lord Ram’s younger brother, Lord Laxman. The enchanting location paints picture of variety of flowers including Geraniums, Marsh Marigold, Rhododendrons, Asters, Strawberries, Primulas and Epilobiums.
The winsome scenic beauty formed by range of flowers is simply mesmerizing. And adding on to its charm is the tranquil ambience that makes it look more fascinating. Moreover, if you are lucky enough, you may also spot Musk Deer, Brown beer, Red fox, Blue sheep and Asiatic Black bear.
After having fragrance of the fresh flowers and enjoying the beauty of valley trek back to Ghangaria. overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 04: Ghangaria – Hemkund Sahib – Ghangaria (trek 12 kms both side 4-5hrs appoxr) Guest will depart after breakfast lunch will serve enroot

After breakfast trek begins for Hemkund Sahib, a highly revered pilgrimage center among Sikhs, associated with the 10th Sikh Guru, Guru Gobind Singh. It is believed that he meditated here for several years.
On your way to Gurudwara, one comes across attractive views of magnificent Himalayas, cascading waterfalls and lush forests. Referred as Gurudwara Sri Hemkund Sahib is the highest Gurudwara of Sikh community that is settled at an altitude up to 4329 meters above the sea level. It is a star shaped Gurudwara made up of white marble. Offer sincere prayers at the Gurudwara. After prying and get the blessings of almighty, trek back for Ghangria dinner and over night stay.

Day 05 : Ghangaria – Govind Ghat – Joshimath 13 kms trek 25 kms drive approx 5-6 hrs)
Guest will depart after breakfast lunch will serve enroot
After an early breakfast depart for Govind ghat takes 4-5 hrs approx. after reachingGovind ghat drive for Joshimath check in upon arrival. During evening attaind Arti at Narsinh temple. Dinner and over night stay.

Day 06:- Joshimath – Shrinagar- Rishikesh 250 drive 6-7 hrs)
Guest will depart after breakfast lunch will serve enroot
After late breakfast drive for Rishikesh, on the way to Rishikesh one can visit Sage Vashisth cave. It is bleved that Sage Vashisth Meditated in this cave 5000 years ago. After visit cave continue drive to Rishikesh.
